Dorothy Pinyoloya is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RuachRig Energy, a company dedicated to the development of sustainable power infrastructure projects that support economic growth, social inclusion, and long-term community resilience.
With academic training in law (LLB) and executive management (EMBA), Dorothy brings a rare combination of legal rigor, commercial intelligence, and strategic leadership to energy infrastructure development. She has been actively involved in the origination and structuring of renewable energy and power infrastructure initiatives across emerging markets, with a particular focus on projects that advance rural electrification and inclusive development.
In recognition of her leadership and impact, Dorothy was named among the 100 Most Reputable Africans (2026). She frequently engages with global leaders, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders on issues related to energy transition, sustainable development, and infrastructure-led growth.
As CEO of RuachRig Energy, Dorothy provides strategic direction across project development, partnerships, and governance, leading initiatives that integrate renewable energy solutions with long-term operational sustainability and community-focused outcomes.
RuachRig Energy is managed by an executive management team with responsibility for corporate strategy, project development, and day-to-day operations. Strategic oversight, sector expertise, and independent advisory input are provided by a non-executive Board of Advisors, which operates in an advisory capacity only and does not participate in management or exercise fiduciary authority.
